Training rooms at four locations in Hesse
Staff of the courts, public prosecutors' offices, correctional facilities and the Hessian Ministry of Justice use the training and education services of the IT office of the Hesse judiciary. Between late 2022 and mid-2023, training rooms at four locations were equipped with alphadidact® Digital multimedia systems from EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH.

Challenge
The IT office needed a flexible solution for its training rooms: lecturers should be able to control the PCs and screens of participants selectively or as a group. In addition, two different signal sources should be able to be transmitted simultaneously to large screens – for example for comparative presentations. Integration of participants as presenters was also required.
Solution
Each alphadidact® Digital multimedia system integrates 1 + 12 to 16 dual-monitor workstations, document cameras, laptops and two 85-inch displays. A customised 10-inch touchscreen controls the system; in addition, an iPad with the EBS alphadidact app is available. With a single press, for example, the lecturer can send the left signal to participants 1–6 and the right signal to participants 7–12. Each workstation has a signal input for a tablet or laptop – every participant can become a presenter.

Results
Training can be designed significantly more interactively and effectively. Participants in the back rows follow the training content in optimum quality and can clearly recognise details.
