Development & Production
Since 1984 the name EBS (Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH | Educational & Business Systems) has stood for innovation and quality in digital education technology. We develop and manufacture custom solutions for computer-based education and training. Our success is built on the high quality of our products, the long experience of our team and a growing number of satisfied customers in over 54 countries. For many years, innovation has been an essential part of our company's development: through our own research and development activities, we continuously work on new technologies, products and solutions for modern learning and training environments. These activities have been confirmed by the German certification body for the research allowance (Bescheinigungsstelle Forschungszulage, BSFZ) as eligible research and development within the meaning of the German Research Allowance Act. The BSFZ seal certifies the R&D activity of companies that have received at least one positive certificate – for EBS a special recognition of our ambition not only to apply innovative solutions, but to develop them ourselves. Products "Made in Germany"
All our products are developed and manufactured in Germany. Modern SMD production ensures the highest quality and flexible production processes. Our extensive component warehouse and forward-looking production planning guarantee short delivery times. We test and certify all products before market launch. All EBS products come with a 3-year warranty (warranty extension available on request).
International focus
The company was founded in 1984 as alpha Computer Service GmbH by Günter Euchner and launched the first EGA/VGA training systems in the alphadidact® range in 1985. In 1991 it was renamed EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH, under the management of the two managing partners Günter Euchner and his son Robert Euchner. The videodidact® system was launched in 1993, followed by videodidact® Select, Show and View between 1993 and 1994. The digital training system alphadidact® Digital was developed in 2007 and is now offered as a 4K training system. In 2014 EBS received a new corporate design with an updated logo integrating the three primary colours of signal transmission (RGB). EBS GmbH is active in more than 54 countries. In 2023 the export share exceeded 50% of total turnover. EBS is independent of external funders and has an excellent credit rating (Creditreform, March 2024). The company is an extremely reliable partner for customers and suppliers.
Alliances & Partnerships
We have formed strategic alliances and sales and OEM partnerships with well-known, established companies from various sectors, ensuring flexible, coordinated integration of our products into almost any infrastructure (e.g. language labs, call centres, dental labs, microscopy labs, anatomy labs, server rooms, conference rooms, auditoria, etc.). Thanks to international partnerships, our digital multimedia training systems are used in a wide range of applications and markets, including IT/computer training rooms, medical training labs/skills labs, government ministries and police and military academies worldwide.
