Dentsply Sirona Academy Bensheim
For many years, Dentsply Sirona and EBS have been linked by a strategic partnership. With around 15,000 employees and branches in more than 40 countries, Dentsply Sirona is the world's largest manufacturer of dental products and technologies. In 2018, 1 + 24 simulation workstations at the Dentsply Sirona Academy in Bensheim were networked multimedia-wise with alphadidact® Digital.
Challenge
For practice-oriented training, customer events and presentations, the latest dental technologies had to be visualised flexibly and in high quality. All microscopes, PCs, screens, cameras and tablets had to be connectable. A separate treatment room and three large-format screens were to be able to transmit different signal sources simultaneously – for example for direct comparisons.
Solution
Via a 12-inch touchscreen at the lecturer's workstation, all 25 microscopes, PCs, screens, cameras and tablets can be interconnected. A separate treatment room and three 55-inch displays are integrated via a 4×4 matrix from EBS. The individual sources can be dragged and dropped onto the desired target – simple and intuitive.

The EBS alphadidact® Digital multimedia system enables flexible and high-quality visualisation of work steps and live treatments.
