Colosseum Academy Oslo relies on alphadidact® Digital
The EndoInn / Colosseum Academy in Oslo, Norway, chose alphadidact® Digital from EBS Euchner Büro- und Schulsysteme GmbH when refurbishing its dental training labs. Twelve simulation workstations are used to train students with state-of-the-art dental technology.
Challenge
Screen content had to be transmitted uncompressed and latency-free. The lecturer should be able to send the signal from a 3D microscope or an intraoral camera to all workstation screens at the touch of a button. In addition, every simulation workstation should be selectable and transmissible as a signal source. Visitor groups should be received in a seminar room and integrated into the dental training sessions.
Solution
With the alphadidact® Digital multimedia system, screen content is transmitted uncompressed and latency-free. Students follow demonstrations pixel-perfect and in highest digital resolution directly at their workstations. Via the 12-inch touchscreen, any simulation workstation can be selected as a signal source and transmitted. Coupling the simulation room and seminar room enables combined visualisation of practical and theoretical training content.
Results
Interactive collaboration between students and trainers; visitor groups can be integrated into the training sessions.
